NIcki mccormick 1974 - 2003

On the 22nd November2003 Nicki was fatally injured in a road accident.... When the troupe were formed in 1985 Nicki was one of the first through the doors....she was to stay with the troupe for 10 years........ ...those years were possibly some of the best she enjoyed....Nicki just loved Majorettes..... Nicki was a character ...likable...funny... mischievous...unique ...she was all of these but to me ...once met never forgotten thats how i would describe Nicki. Nickys dedication to The Liverpool Crusaders was second to none,always one of the first to training sessions ...first to get on the bus on competition days always to the fore in sponsored events to raise funds.....her enthusiasm was infectious ......All in all Nicki was a brilliant Majorette who spent many hours practising until she got it perfect.. All the more remarkable because she had a hearing disability..... In my opinion Nicki was up there with the Best....Simply....... Thanks for the Memories Nicki ALB xxx
